Nestled in a quintessential Dutch landscape of alternating strips of land and water, this single-storey home for a family of four perfectly integrates with its natural surroundings. The design aims to cherish and enhance the beauty of the environment, emphasizing simplicity and precision. Replacing an outdated 1960s building, the new design is directly aligned with the landscape, featuring solid walls on the north and east for privacy and open facades on the south and west to showcase the stunning views. Especially geared towards the future is the fully electric, "zero on the meter" principle of this residence, which ensures that the house produces as much energy as it consumes. The excellent thermal insulation of our minimal windows contributes significantly to the ecologically sustainable performance of the house.

Central to this architectural marvel are our minimal windows®, which create a seamless connection between the living spaces and the natural surroundings. These ultra-slim sliding systems allow unobstructed views of nature and flood the rooms with natural light. They also allow water reflections to be projected onto the cantilevered roof, further enhancing the harmonious integration of indoor and outdoor spaces.
